This webinar features an exchange between Project Manager, Ciarra "Ci Ci" Covin (The Well Project) and Latesha Elopre, MD, MSPH (University of Alabama at Birmingham) to uplift the unique needs and priorities and insights of Black women living with and vulnerable to HIV, with an emphasis on the US South. It also highlights optimal care for women and provide participants with best practices to improve their capacity to serve the needs of women living with and vulnerable to HIV. This program is supported through a grant from NASTAD.

Breeding colonies are essential to sustain appropriate SPF macaques for research related to HIV/AIDS. Pedigree SPF macaques are free of certain viruses, which may confound the results of HIV/AIDS-related investigations or present a risk to the personnel who care for the animals.
