NPIN is a digital web-based platform, supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which helps partners advance prevention and care efforts for those living with or at risk for HIV or AIDS, tuberculosis (TB), viral hepatitis, and/or sexually transmitted disease (STDs).  NPIN offers partners multiple digital media, resources, and materials to support prevention work. Our services are designed to facilitate program collaboration in sharing information, resources, published materials, research, and trends among the four diseases stated and adolescent and school health. Although NPIN maintains a searchable database of testing locations, all information is provided by the testing organization, and NPIN does not have access to any information that is not listed on the CDC NPIN website.

As the U.S. reference and referral service for information on HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, STDs, and TB, NPIN collects information to maintain a national, searchable database of organizations and facilities that provide HIV/STD/TB/hepatitis testing, prevention, capacity building, treatment, care, and support services. This database powers tools, such as GetTested and the PrEP locator.

Yes. NPIN encourages public health professionals to use the database as a resource to research services in a location of interest.
