TB Guidelines for Nurses in the Care and Control of Tuberculosis and Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis

This guideline is intended to help nurses in their role of detecting TB cases, providing care, and managing TB treatment. It provides a nursing approach to planning and delivering patient care, aimed at improving access and quality of care throughout the treatment period. It offers a review of TB and multidrug-resistant TB (MDR TB) and the directly observed treatment short-course (DOTS) and DOTS-Plus strategy, as well as guidance on how to adapt TB control information for local program implementation.

Wisconsin Tuberculosis Record

This card in English and Hmong provides a place for health professionals to record tuberculin skin test results, QFT result, chest x-ray date, TB status, the medical treatment being administered, and contact information for the service provider. The card is given to the patient to serve as a permanent record of TB status.
