Leadership Exchange LIVE: Black Women Living with and Vulnerable to HIV in the U.S.

This webinar features an exchange between Project Manager, Ciarra "Ci Ci" Covin (The Well Project) and Latesha Elopre, MD, MSPH (University of Alabama at Birmingham) to uplift the unique needs and priorities and insights of Black women living with and vulnerable to HIV, with an emphasis on the US South. It also highlights optimal care for women and provide participants with best practices to improve their capacity to serve the needs of women living with and vulnerable to HIV. This program is supported through a grant from NASTAD.

Pharmaceutical Company Patient Assistance Programs and Cost-sharing Assistance Programs: HIV Prevention

This guide explains how patient assistance programs (PAPs) are run by, or in association with, pharmaceutical companies to provide free or low-cost medications to people with low incomes who generally do not qualify for any other insurance or assistance programs (such as Medicaid, Medicare, or AIDS Drug Assistance Programs). Some company PAPs may be open to certain insured people with low incomes to help with affordability challenges associated with out-of-pocket medication cost-sharing requirements.
