This guide is to train AIDS service providers, case managers, and peer educators on evidence-based information about Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) as part of comprehensive HIV prevention in order to support their efforts to educate young men that have sex with men (MSM), in particular, young Black and Latino MSM on the new prevention strategy.

Comprehensive Cervical Cancer Control: A Guide to Essential Practice

This guide includes WHO recommendations on screening and treatment of pre-cancer lesions and on HPV vaccination made through April 2014, taking account of relevant evidence-based findings published up to December 2013; emerging practices that are still being evaluated are also noted in this publication. This guide, which replaces the 2006 edition, has two new chapters, one newly organized chapter, and two substantially revised chapters. The new chapters include: Essentials for cervical a=cancer prevention and control programmes; and HPV vaccination.

This information sheet provides general information about HIV/AIDS and how to deal with situations concerning HIV/AIDS in the workplace. The information sheet explains how HIV/AIDS is and is not transmitted. Since most of the behaviors that are high risk for HIV are not practiced in the workplace there is little risk of acquiring HIV at work. It lists ways to avoid HIV infection in the workplace and in personal life. It also reminds individuals that people with HIV/AIDS are susceptible to common viruses like the cold or flu virus and that they need support, caring, and understanding.
