In the Caribbean, the HIV/AIDS epidemic is concentrated among KP, including MSM, SW and TG individuals. Within a TA framework, CDC CRO aims to support MOHs as they strive to reach the UNAIDS 90:90:90 targets. This FOA will expand the capacity of Caribbean MOHs to strategically address the HIV epidemics by supporting sustainable national efforts to improve and scale up high impact combination prevention along the HIV COPCT.

The goal of the FP Integrated Project is to increase use of modern contraceptive methods by target populations. Adherence to a prescribed treatment regimen, including medications, devices and behavioral recommendations, can significantly impact morbidity and mortality for patients with chronic diseases, including chronic kidney or urologic disease. When adherence to complex and seemingly rigid treatment regimens is poor, the results can be tragic. Adolescence is a particularly challenging time for adherence given the competing demands in an adolescents life, the unique developmental changes, and rapidly changing set of responsibilities as they transition to adulthood.
