The Patient's Charter for Tuberculosis Care (The Charter) outlines the rights and responsibilities of people with tuberculosis. It empowers people with the disease and their communities through this knowledge. Initiated and developed by patients from around the world, the Charter makes the relationship with health care providers a mutually beneficial one. The Charter is affiliated with the International Standards for Tuberculosis Care, developed by the Tuberculosis Coalition for Technical Assistance.

This document sets out a 10-year strategic framework for advocacy, communications, and social mobilization activities and is a key supporting document to the Stop TB Partnership’s Global Plan to Stop TB 2006–2015.

As a member of the Stop TB Partnership, the Health and Development Networks moderated a six-month discussion on the Stop TB eForum on key roles and needs of front-line health workers in stopping tuberculosis. This publication describes key findings and recommendations from the discussions on the crucial role front-line health workers play in TB control.

TB Photovoice Thailand (TBPV) is a project that uses photography to raise awareness and stimulate dialogue among communities affected by tuberculosis (TB) and HIV in northern Thailand.
