This monograph focuses on HIV/AIDS projects and programs that have improved quality of life for people living with or affected by HIV. These initiatives are widely spread geographically, and they include programs in Cambodia, the Ivory Coast, Ecuador, India, Kenya, South Africa, and two regions of Uganda. The monograph describes these projects and programs, summarizes the main lessons learned through them, and examines their commonalities and differences.
