FY 2024 Supplement: Strengthening Public Health Systems and Services in Indian Country

The program’s purpose is to strengthen the quality, performance, and infrastructure of Tribal public health systems, including workforce, data and information systems, and programs and services. Recipients will work to improve capacity to develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs and services to address prioritized public health activities in AI/AN communities.

USAID Kenya and East Africa (KEA) Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Activity

The USAID/KEA SBC Activity (“Activity”) will support individuals (including service providers), households, and communities to adopt and maintain the practice of priority health behaviors by (IR 1) identifying and addressing individual, social, and structural factors that influence priority health behaviors; (IR 2) increasing the availability and use of evidence for design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and learning; (IR 3) strengthening Government of Kenya (GOK) systems, structures and policies to improve coordination, collaboration, and learning for SBC interventions; and (IR 4)

Feasibility of Novel Diagnostics for TB in Endemic Countries (FEND for TB) (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to support the evaluation of early-stage diagnostics and novel diagnostic strategies for Tuberculosis (TB) in the context of existing clinical algorithms in TB endemic countries.

Limited Interaction Targeted Epidemiology: Epidemiology of Transmission and Treatment of HIV Among People Who Are at Increased Risk for HIV Infection in Latin America (LITE-LA) (UG3/UH3 Clinical Trial Optional)

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to support investigators who will form large, electronically-generated cohorts in Latin America of HIV-negative men who have sex with men (MSM), transgender women (TGW), people who inject drugs (PWID), and/or female sex-workers and follow them to study the epidemiology of HIV incidence. Continued follow-up of those persons who acquire HIV will be required to study the epidemiology of viral suppression.
