NVHR-Sponsored Webinar on Hepatitis C in California: The Role of the Primary Care Team

This webinar described the role of primary care providers in hepatitis C. It provided an epidemiological overview of hepatitis C nationally and in California; reviewed hepatitis C testing recommendations and the role of PCPS in screening, diagnosis, and care; and spotlighted a case study on initiating hepatitis C Baby Boomer hepatitis C screening in primary care.

WHO guidelines on HIV and Infant Feeding in 2010 for the first time recommended the use of antiretroviral drugs to prevent postnatal transmission of HIV through breastfeeding.
