Self-Study Modules on Tuberculosis: Modules 1-5

These educational modules are designed to provide basic information about tuberculosis (TB) in a self-study format for new TB health care workers. This instructional packet includes a series of five modules, an introduction, a glossary, and content covering transmission, pathogenesis, epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment of TB infection and disease, and infection control.

TB Net Clinic Systems Manual

This information packet discusses the use of a clinician-based referral and tracking system for migrant workers with TB. It includes samples of a pocket-sized bilingual (English/Spanish) treatment record for migrant workers.

Tuberculosis Medication Drug and Food Interactions

This information card provides information on the multiple significant drug interactions between TB medications; specifically, INH, rifampin, and other medications and the effect of the interaction. It also provides information on food interactions with TB drugs.

This report summarizes the accomplishments and activities of the Stop TB Partnership in 2001.

Tuberculosis Field Investigation: A Resource for the Health Care Worker

This manual describes the TB field investigation process including pre-investigation preparation, communication with individuals in the field, confidentiality, field safety, and working with community providers. A checklist to be used during field work is also included.

This report summarizes the recommendations of the Association of Public Health Laboratories Task Force on Tuberculosis Laboratory Services. The report describes in greater detail the actions and performance measures that were used to guide development and implementation of an integrated system for providing TB laboratory services. This report also provides information on the scientific basis of the recommendations.
