America's HIV Epidemic Analysis Dashboard

AHEAD is "one tool" supporting and/or tracking the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE). AHEAD helps track the six EHE indicators in areas with the highest burden of HIV. It complements and serves as one of many important implementation elements of the EHE initiative and the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. This interactive dashboard can be used to inform planning and is a starting place to explore other HIV data sources.

Leadership Exchange LIVE: Black Women Living with and Vulnerable to HIV in the U.S.

This webinar features an exchange between Project Manager, Ciarra "Ci Ci" Covin (The Well Project) and Latesha Elopre, MD, MSPH (University of Alabama at Birmingham) to uplift the unique needs and priorities and insights of Black women living with and vulnerable to HIV, with an emphasis on the US South. It also highlights optimal care for women and provide participants with best practices to improve their capacity to serve the needs of women living with and vulnerable to HIV. This program is supported through a grant from NASTAD.

This guideline, Informed by conversations with current housing and harm reduction service providers, Thinking About Starting a Supportive Housing Program? Recommendations and Considerations for the Planning Process may be used to help inform programmatic development for supportive housing. It is intended for governmental and community-based organizations that are interested in developing housing programs within their organization or collaborating with other partners in their communities.

Pilot and Feasibility Studies in Preparation for Substance Use Prevention Trials (R34 Clinical Trial Optional)

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to encourage pilot and/or feasibility research in the following areas: 1) the development and pilot testing of new or adapted interventions to prevent or delay the initiation of substance use and/or the progression from use to misuse or disorder and 2) pre-trial feasibility and acceptability testing of services and service system research relevant to the prevention of substance use.

What motivated you to join the Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign?

On November 30, NASTAD hosted a webinar, “Program Evaluation – Just the Basics.”This webinar provided a basic overview of program evaluation. It covered the importance of evaluation on the success of a program, common misconceptions about evaluation, and different kinds of evaluation commonly used by HIV prevention programs. 

Topics discussed were the general principles and key components of program evaluation processes using CDC’s framework for program evaluation, practical examples of evaluation tools including SMARTIE objectives, and logic models.
