Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program National Training and Technical Assistance Programs for Resource Dissemination, Improved Data, and Organizational Development

This announcement solicits applications for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program National Training and Technical Assistance Programs for Resource Dissemination, Improved Data, and Organizational Development. The purpose of this national training and technical assistance (T/TA) program is to fund a series of activities to provide support to Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) recipients and subrecipient providers.

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A Planning Council and Transitional Grant Area Planning Body Technical Assistance (TA) Cooperative Agreement

This announcement solicits applications for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A Planning Council and Transitional Grant Area (TGA) Planning Body Technical Assistance (TA) Cooperative Agreement. The goal of this cooperative agreement is to provide comprehensive technical assistance to Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part A Planning Councils and Transitional Grant Area (TGA) Planning Bodies (Planning Councils/Bodies) that will enable them to enhance their abilities to successfully meet legislative responsibilities.

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program Training and Technical Assistance

This announcement solicits applications for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Training and Technical Assistance program. The purpose of this funding is to build the capacity of ADAPs through tools and technical assistance to maximize the impact of ADAPs in improving the health outcomes of people living with HIV in a changing health care environment.

Evaluations to Improve Prevention Interventions Under the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Department of Health and Human Services

PEPFAR is committed to reducing new HIV infections worldwide by implementing evidence-based interventions that address risk at the individual, relationship, and community level. Adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) ages 15 to 24 years in sub-Saharan Africa are unique with respect to both their high burden of HIV disease and their extensive array of potential risk factors at the biological, behavioral, interpersonal, social, and structural levels.

HIV, HCV and Related Comorbidities in Rural Communities Affected by Opioid Injection Drug Epidemics in the United States: Building Systems for Prevention, Treatment and Control (UG3/UH3)

This FOA will support biphasic (i.e., two stage, multi-method) research projects that inform community response and promote comprehensive, integrated approaches to prevent HIV and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, along with associated comorbidities such as hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), among people who inject drugs (PWID) in rural US communities. Opioid injection and its consequences (e.g., HIV, HCV, HBV, STDs and overdose) are the primary foci here.

Collaborative Consortia for the Study of HIV-Associated Cancers: U.S. and Low-and Middle-Income Country Partnerships (U54)

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to fund research on HIV-associated cancers in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) through collaborative efforts between investigators in United States (U.S.) and investigators in LMICs. The FOA will also support the enhancement of research capacity of LMIC institutions for research in this area. The FOA solicits applications for Specialized Center Cooperative Agreements (U54) for research on HIV-associated cancers from research institutions in the U.S. and LMICs.

Community-Based HIV Services for Southern Region (Maputo, Gaza and Inhambane) Agency for International Development

The purpose of the activity is to contribute to achieving epidemic control in Mozambique by reaching people living with HIV (PLHIV) through community interventions that support the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals.The overall goal of the activity is to enhance and improve the HIV treatment, nutrition, general health outcomes, and livelihoods of PLHIV- children, women and families - in Maputo, Gaza, and Inhambane.

HIV Program Evaluation Implementation Support for Activities Implemented under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) will directly support public and nonprofit private institutions and agencies in PEPFAR-supported countries for the conduct of evaluations of programs currently being implemented by CDC-funded partners. These activities are essential for establishing and strengthening innovative, emerging, and best practices in clinical and community HIV/AIDS and TB prevention, care, and treatment services provided in PEPFAR-supported countries, and may include economic, process, and outcome evaluations.

Improving the HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Cascade (R34)

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for Planning Grants (R34) that will strengthen the HIV oral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) care continuum by developing and pilot testing interventions to improve PrEP care engagement and retention among individuals at substantial risk for HIV infection, as well as interventions to support PrEP medication adherence and persistence as indicated.
