GLSEN’s recent research reports on LGBTQ+ Youth of Color highlight the importance of school-based supports that address students facing racism as well as homophobia and transphobia. To further apply these findings to schools across the country, Becca Mui, GLSEN’s Education Manager, interviewed members from our national Educator Advisory Committee. The educators shared how they support their LGBTQ+ students of color, overviewed some best practices, and discussed who they are and how they can be as important as what they do.
