Engaging Healthcare Organizations for HIV Prevention and Care

This webinar was the final event of a three-part webinar series on Addressing Priorities in HIV Testing.  “Engaging Health Care Organizations for HIV Prevention and Care” took place on Tuesday April 23, 2024. The webinar focused on Public Health Seattle King County's EHE Healthcare Collaborative. Dr. Golden provided an overview of the initiative, which aims to provide an infrastructure to support health care organizations across King County to better identify people at risk for HIV, increase PrEP access and promotion, test people for HIV when they are already presenting for health care, and rapidly and effectively treat those diagnosed with HIV. The panel featured members of the Healthcare Collaborative. Discussion focused on the structure of these partnerships, challenges faced engaging in this work, and best practices for engaging healthcare organizations in public health initiatives.
