This webinar slide set addresses client consent policies for public health data use and sharing. Speakers representing both provider and health department perspectives discuss different approaches to client consent as well as considerations to ensure that client consent for data sharing follows both legal and ethical public health requirements.

To motivate the public to take action to protect and improve their sexual health, NCSH members agreed that it was key to identify and promote the benefits of doing so, the core action steps to good sexual health, and a short, simple definition of sexual health.

NASTAD intends for health department staff to use this slide deck as a template to present foundational cluster detection and response (CDR) information to community partners and health department staff, either in-person or virtually.
