Announcement of Availability of Funds for Family Planning Services Grants Virginia

This announcement seeks applications from public and private nonprofit entities to establish and operate voluntary family planning services projects, which shall provide family planning services to all persons desiring such services, with priority for services to persons from low-income families. The Title X statute specifies that local and regional public or private nonprofit entities may apply directly to the Secretary for a Title X family planning services grant under this announcement.

Building Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Recipient Capacity to Engage People Living with HIV in Health Care Access

This announcement solicits applications for Building Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Recipient Capacity to Engage People Living with HIV (PLWH) in Health Care Access. The purpose of this program, which is nationwide, is to build the capacity of RWHAP recipients and their subrecipients through tools and technical assistance (TA) to enroll and engage PLWH in expanded health care coverage and to increase the health literacy of the RWHAP care and treatment system, health care providers, and clients regarding use of the health care system to improve the health outcomes of PLWH.

This announcement solicits applications for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part C Capacity Development Program to assist current Part C recipients in their efforts to strengthen their organizational infrastructure and to increase their capacity to develop, enhance, or expand access to high quality HIV primary health care services for low-income, uninsured, underinsured, and underserved people living with HIV (PLWH).

The purpose of this FOA is to encourage investigators to propose discrete well-defined projects that can be completed within three years. Projects of interest fall within the research domain of behavioral or integrated (e.g., behavioral and pharmacological) interventions targeting: (a) substance abuse; (b) prevention of acquisition or transmission of HIV infection among individuals in substance abuse treatment; (c) promotion of adherence to substance abuse treatment, HIV and addiction medications; and (d) chronic pain.

The purpose of this FOA is to quantify need, procure, warehouse, and distribute HIV/AIDS and TB-related commodities, equipment, and services for patients and recipient health facilities funded by the CDC/PEPFAR Uganda program.
