Provision of Comprehensive Community Based Care and Support for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in the United Republic of Tanzania under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

There is still need for improved SI to guide national epidemic response. The purpose of this announcement is to build upon achievements of the current project and support the MOH to generate SI from program data using District Health Information System-2 and conduct priority population based, key population and facility based surveillance/surveys. It will strengthen capacity in disease monitoring/evaluation, monitoring the HIV/AIDS cascade from diagnosis, linkage to care/treatment and viral load suppression.

Strengthening Clinical Services for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in Central America under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) seeks to improve clinical services among People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in the Central America Region including Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.This project will require joint collaboration between the Ministry of Health (MOH), other governmental entities, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in order to effectively reach the target population and support sustainable clinical services.

Supporting Local Indigenous Faith-Based Partners in Providing High Quality HIV Care, Prevention and Treatment Services and Improving Linkage and Retention in the Republic of Guyana under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The purpose of this FOA in Guyana is to provide technical assistance and funding to local indigenous organizations to improve access to quality Antiretroviral therapy (ART) clinical services. Activities will focus on delivering tailored services for key populations, improving linkage to care, retention on ART and will ensure sustainable service delivery within faith based-affiliated sites in Guyana.

Delivering Comprehensive Services to Achieve HIV Epidemic Control in Subnational Units in Nigeria under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This follow-on FOA will sustain and enhance the delivery of comprehensive HIV/AIDS service packages in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This will be accomplished by employing proven strategies and service delivery models to achieve and sustain epidemic control in Nigeria. This program will support facility and community based provision of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and support services in targeted geographic locations and populations.

Strengthening Care and Support Services for Highly Vulnerable Populations, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and their Families, plus HIV Prevention for Youth in the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire under PEPFAR

CDC will, through this FOA, fund four (4) awards to build and improve upon a number of HIV community care and service activities supported by US CDC, including community-based care for adult and OVC activities managed by implementing partners under six separate agreements that are ending in March 2016.

Technical Assistance to India's National AIDS Control Program (NACP) for Strengthening Adult and Pediatric Anti-retroviral Treatment (ART) and Care Services Delivery Network under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This FOA is a 5 year project aimed at strengthening Adult and Pediatric care and ART service delivery under India’s National AIDS Control Program (NACP) through technical assistance for clinical mentoring, quality improvement and capacity building with a focus on geographic area as per the President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) India’s Country Operational Plan.

The Role of Dysbiosis in Cardiovascular, Pulmonary and Hematological Complications During HIV Infection (R01)

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to invite basic research project grant applications for HIV Microbiome Centers to perform investigations on the role of HIV-induced dysbiosis and how this imbalance may induce and/or contribute to the occurrence of heart, lung, or blood (HLB) co-morbidities in HIV positive individuals. This FOA will support mechanistic studies that will use in vitro, in vivo, ex vivo, and in silico models applied to HIV research.
