KnoWyo

Inspired by the statistic that one in 17 Wyoming youth between 15 and 25 years old has an STD, the Wyoming Department of Health is reorganizing its KnoWyo program to target a younger audience between the ages of 13 and 25. The federally funded program allows individuals to print a voucher for free STD and HIV tests at local clinics. The campaign emphasizes using the hashtag #make1countare on its Facebook and Twitter pages. The hashtag slogan is meant to encourage youth to collect a urine sample for testing from one of the estimated 2,500 times in a year that they will go to the bathroom.
