Last Name:

Bio:
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked to provide assistance and support to underserved and at-risk communities. Working in concert with partner organizations, federal agencies, and members of the community themselves, I’ve served affected communities in the D.C. area and nationwide.
As a seasoned program manager and analyst, I’ve led operations of multiple grant-funded programs to render technical assistance and crucial capacity-building activities (CBA). Much of my work has served the LGBTQ community in effecting HIV education, awareness, and prevention programs. I’ve also worked with the Urban Coalition for HIV/AIDS Prevention Services and the National Organization of Black County Officials to support health-related objectives and programs.
Rather than attempting to implement solutions from the top-down, I’ve learned to think critically about structural obstacles, find strategies that empower communities, and produce equitable outcomes across lines of age, gender, race, and sexuality.
Respected for authentic engagement with the community, I offer the sum of my experience, education, training, and passion to every organization I serve.
