Sexually Transmitted Disease Morbidity Report 2008: Volume 1: County Summary

This report summarizes the sexually transmitted disease morbidity for Los Angeles County for 2008. It identifies trends and patterns and provides updates of Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and PID reportable STDs in the county. The report lists STD trends, including a surveillance summary of STDs reported in the county 2008, trends of Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and PID reported for 2004-2008, distribution of reported STDs 2008, among males and females by age group, age group and race/ethnicity, national and state and county comparisons for Chlamydia, gonorrhea, primary and secondary syphilis, by service planning and health district and early latent syphilis.
