Early Syphilis Surveillance Summary: Cases Reported as of May 31, 2010

This report summarizes data on early syphilis cases reported as of May 31, 2010, in Los Angeles County, California. The report provides information on all cases of early syphilis, primary and secondary syphilis, and early latent syphilis by men who have sex with men, women, heterosexual men, sexual orientation, age group and sexual orientation, race/ethnicity and sexual orientation, HIV status and sexual orientation by sexual orientation and month of diagnosis, by SPA, by race ethnicity of early syphilis cases who frequented bathhouses or sex clubs, and who met partners through the Internet, and, HIV and early syphilis coinfection.
