Mood Disorders in People Living with HIV: Mechanisms and Pathways (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)

The purpose of this initiative is to support studies to better understand the underlying mechanisms and interplay of biological, psychosocial and structural factors contributing to mood disorders in people living with HIV. Applications testing a fully conceptualized and hypothesis-based solid premise founded with adequate preliminary data are appropriate for this funding opportunity announcement. Exploratory and high-risk research projects should c?onsider applying to the companion R21 announcement RFA-MH-21-117.

2021 Empowering Communities to Address Behavioral Health and Chronic Pain through Chronic Disease Self-Management Education Programs

Through this funding opportunity, the Administration on Aging (AoA), part of the Administration for Community Living (ACL), plans to award approximately eight cooperative agreements to domestic public or private non-profit entities. This funding opportunity is designed to address behavioral health and/or chronic pain among older adults and adults with disabilities through the implementation of appropriate evidence-based self-management education and self-management support programs.

2021 Integrated Networks to Deliver and Sustain Evidence-Based Chronic Disease Self-Management Education Programs

Through this funding opportunity, the Administration on Aging (AoA), part of the Administration for Community Living (ACL), plans to award approximately 3 cooperative agreements to domestic public or private non-profit entities. The intent of these awards is to strengthen integrated networks that address the behavioral and social determinants of health of older adults and adults with disabilities, and increase the number of these individuals who participate in evidence-based chronic disease self-management education and self-management support programs.

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part C Capacity Development Program

This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part C Capacity Development Program. The purpose of this program is to strengthen organizational capacity to respond to the changing health care landscape and increase access to high-quality HIV primary health care services for low-income, uninsured, and underserved people with HIV.

Building Capacity to Improve Collecting and Reporting Viral Suppression Data to the Medicaid Adult Core Set

This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the Building Capacity to Improve Collecting and Reporting Viral Suppression Data to the Medicaid Adult Core Set cooperative agreement, as a Special Project of National Significance. This initiative seeks to develop strategies to build capacity among HIV surveillance and Medicaid programs for reporting high-quality HIV viral suppression data to comply with reporting of the HIV Viral Load Suppression (HVL-AD) measure on the Medicaid Adult Core Set.

Detection of HIV for Self-Testing (R61/R33 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support collaborative, interdisciplinary early-stage research to inform the development of innovative rapid, sensitive, simple, and cost-effective diagnostic technologies that will enable HIV self-testing during the earliest phases of acute infection or during viral rebound.
