It provides statistics showing the percentage of new HIV infections by race/ethnicity and gender, 2009; HIV/AIDS diagnoses among Latinos in 2009 in the 40 states with confidential name-based HIV reporting; the number of Latinos living with AIDS in the United States and dependent areas, 2009; and the estimated numbers of Latinos with an AIDS diagnoses who had died in the United States and dependent areas in 2008.
