Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A Planning Council and Transitional Grant Area Planning Body Technical Assistance (TA) Cooperative Agreement

This announcement solicits applications for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A Planning Council and Transitional Grant Area (TGA) Planning Body Technical Assistance (TA) Cooperative Agreement. The goal of this cooperative agreement is to provide comprehensive technical assistance to Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part A Planning Councils and Transitional Grant Area (TGA) Planning Bodies (Planning Councils/Bodies) that will enable them to enhance their abilities to successfully meet legislative responsibilities.

National Indian Health Outreach and Education II – Behavioral Health and HIV/AIDS

The purpose of these cooperative agreements is to further Indian Health Service (IHS) health program objectives in the American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) community with awareness, visibility, advocacy, and education efforts for the Behavioral Health (BH) and HIV/AIDS programs on a national scale and in the interest of improving Indian health care. This announcement includes two separate awards, each of which will be awarded as noted below. The purpose of the BH award is to promote behavioral health as central to the health and well-being of AI/AN communities.

Improving Hepatitis B and C Care Cascades; Focus on Increased Testing and Diagnosis

CDC will provide funds to states and limited local Health Departments to work in collaboration with external partners throughout the health care system, and other stakeholders as relevant, to 1) conduct a situational analysis in their jurisdiction to include a) number and description of clinical and other settings that can provide CDC/USPSTF recommended testing and linkages to care and treatment services related to hepatitisC virus (HCV) and hepatitis B virus (HBV) testing and, b) based on this analysis, assess the quality of current HCV and HBV testing and detection activities in each sett

Infection prevention and control (IPC), and particularly TB infection control (TBIC) activities are critical to protect patients and health care workers (HCW) from healthcare-associated transmission of airborne infectious diseases.
