Engaging Men in HIV Testing, Prevention, and Care (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to develop and test strategies to increase the engagement of men in HIV prevention and care within global settings and among US domestic populations who have evidenced lower rates of engagement and retention in HIV prevention and care. This FOA is specifically focused on developing effective strategies to engage and retain men in HIV prevention and care and assessing the impact of these treatment and prevention strategies along the HIV prevention and care continua.

AIDS Education and Training Centers – National HIV Curriculum e-Learning Platform: Technology Operations and Maintenance

This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP), AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC) Program for the technological operations and maintenance of the National HIV Curriculum (NHC) e-Learning Platform. This project will manage the technological operation and maintenance of the NHC e-learning Platform. Further, it will maintain the platform’s capacity to support additional modules thereby broadening the subject matter content available on the existing NHC.

AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC) National Coordinating Resource Center

This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC) National Coordinating Resource Center (NCRC), a component of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Part F AETC Program. The AETC Program consists of the Regional AETC Program, two National AETCs, called the National Clinician Consultation Center (NCCC) and the AETC-NCRC, and an AETC national evaluation contractor (NEC). The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB), Office of Training and Capacity Development administers this program.

Regional AIDS Education and Training Centers

This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the Regional AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC), a component of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Part F AETC Program. The AETC Program consists of the Regional AETC Program, two (2) National AETCs, and an AETC National Evaluation Contractor (NEC). The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB), Office of Training and Capacity Development administers this program.

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Access, Care, and Engagement Technical Assistance Center (ACE TA Center)

This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding to maintain and strengthen the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Access, Care, and Engagement Technical Assistance Center (ACE TA Center), previously funded under Funding Opportunity Number HRSA-16-081, Building RWHAP Recipient Capacity to Engage PLWH in Health Care Access. This cooperative agreement will build the capacity of RWHAP recipients and subrecipients to ensure people living with HIV (PLWH) understand and use the range of health care coverage options available to facilitate access to and maintain engagement in care.

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part D -- Women, Infants, Children, and Youth (WICY) Grants Supplemental Funding

This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the fiscal year (FY) 2019 RWHAP Integrated HIV/AIDS Planning and Resource Allocation Cooperative Agreement. The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to provide tools, training and technical assistance to RWHAP Parts A and B recipients and their planning bodies. RWHAP Parts A and B recipients and planning bodies submit Integrated Plans/ Statewide Coordinated Statements of Need (SCSN) to HRSA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in response to legislative and programmatic requirements.

Characterization of Mycobacterial Induced Immunity in HIV-infected and Uninfected Individuals (R21 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support innovative studies to identify and understand the immunological responses that mediate protection from Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) infection or following vaccination with Bacillus Calmette-Gurin (BCG) or investigational vaccines. Studies may focus on any stage of mycobacterial infection and may include HIV-infected or uninfected individuals. Development of novel functional assays to assess host response and inclusion of immune profiling and systems biology approaches are encouraged.

Modeling HIV Neuropathology Using Microglia from Human iPSC and Cerebral Organoids (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites research grant applications to study the cellular and molecular mechanisms delineating the neuropathophysiology of HIV-associated neurological disorders (HAND) in the setting of long-term combination antiretroviral therapy (cART) conditions using induced microglia and cerebral organoids generated from patient derived induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) lines.
