Supporting Laboratory Strengthening Activities and Partnerships for Countries Supported under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The purpose of this program build and strengthen in-country capacity for sustainable laboratory networks in PEPFAR-supported countries. The program will focus on: 1) workforce develop through enhanced in-service laboratory training and certification programs; 2) continuous quality improvement by strengthening the laboratory standards, policies and systems,; and; 3) increasing laboratory capacity to perform quality laboratory testing for Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other opportunistic infections.

HIV Technical Assistance in Burma under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The CDC seeks qualified applications for a 5-year cooperative agreement to fund HIV prevention, care and treatment, lab support and strategic information and surveillance activities in Burma under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). This NOFO will focus on technical assistance to key partners in country to build capacity for the implementation and monitoring of Test and Start, differentiated ART service delivery models, linkages to care, viral load scale up and quality control systems.

Technical Assistance to Central Asian National HIV Programs to Achieve and Sustain HIV Epidemic Control under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This NOFO is for technical assistance to the national HIV programs supported by the CDC Central Asia Regional office under PEPFAR. The technical assistance provider will pilot and evaluate new models of service delivery for 1) accelerating antiretroviral treatment (ART) scale up, adherence, and retention 2) HIV case finding and 3) harm reduction among Key Populations (KP) and PLHIV. Successful models of service delivery and electronic monitoring of patient care will be handed over, scaled up, and sustained by host country government by the end of the five year cooperative agreement.

Global Infectious Disease Research Training Program (D43 Clinical Trial Optional)

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) encourages applications for the Global Infectious Disease (GID) Research Training Program from U.S. and low- and middle-income country (LMIC) institutions. The application should propose a collaborative training program that will strengthen the capacity of an LMIC institution to conduct infectious disease research.

AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Emergency Relief Funds (ERF)

This notice solicits applications for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Emergency Relief Funds (ERF). The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB), Division of State HIV/AIDS Programs (DSHAP) administers this program. ADAP ERF awards are intended for states/territories that demonstrate the need for additional resources to prevent, reduce, or eliminate ADAP waiting lists, including through cost-containment measures (for example, the provision of health insurance assistance).

Using Archived Data and Specimen Collections to Advance Maternal and Pediatric HIV/AIDS Research (R21 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to address the needs of the maternal and pediatric HIV scientific community for research data translation and sharing. This initiative will support secondary data analyses using archived HIV/AIDS data and specimens to generate new research questions and findings relevant to the scientific mission and priorities of the NICHD, Maternal and Pediatric Infectious Disease Branch (MPIDB) and Office of AIDS Research (OAR).
