HIV/AIDS Prevention

Strengthening Care and Support Services for Highly Vulnerable Populations, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and their Families, plus HIV Prevention for Youth in the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire under PEPFAR

CDC will, through this FOA, fund four (4) awards to build and improve upon a number of HIV community care and service activities supported by US CDC, including community-based care for adult and OVC activities managed by implementing partners under six separate agreements that are ending in March 2016.

Technical Assistance to India's National AIDS Control Program (NACP) for Strengthening Adult and Pediatric Anti-retroviral Treatment (ART) and Care Services Delivery Network under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This FOA is a 5 year project aimed at strengthening Adult and Pediatric care and ART service delivery under India’s National AIDS Control Program (NACP) through technical assistance for clinical mentoring, quality improvement and capacity building with a focus on geographic area as per the President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) India’s Country Operational Plan.

National Indian Health Outreach and Education II – Behavioral Health and HIV/AIDS

The purpose of these cooperative agreements is to further Indian Health Service (IHS) health program objectives in the American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) community with awareness, visibility, advocacy, and education efforts for the Behavioral Health (BH) and HIV/AIDS programs on a national scale and in the interest of improving Indian health care. This announcement includes two separate awards, each of which will be awarded as noted below. The purpose of the BH award is to promote behavioral health as central to the health and well-being of AI/AN communities.

Comprehensive High-Impact HIV Prevention Projects for Young Men of Color Who Have Sex with Men and Young Transgender Persons of Color

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announces the availability of fiscal year 2016 funds for a cooperative agreement program for community-based organizations (CBOs) to develop and implement High-Impact Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Prevention Programs in the following two categories: Category A: HIV prevention services for high risk Young Men of Color Who Have Sex with Men and their partners regardless of age, gender, and race/ethnicity.

Elton John AIDS Foundation 2016 Grants

For this 2016 funding round, as in previous years, the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) invites letters of intent (LOIs) from any proposed project that is working with people who are most affected by HIV in the Americas, defined as the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, or Central or South America.

Resilient and Responsive Health Systems (RRHS) Initiative

Supported through the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) is accepting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2017 in support of the Resilient and Responsive Health Systems (RRHS) Initiative. The purpose of this initiative is to address fundamental health systems constraints that impede the availability of and access to quality health services related to HIV, other infectious diseases and priority health areas in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Liberia, Sierra Leone, and South Sudan.

This announcement solicits applications for fiscal year (FY) 2016 to support a single organization that will serve as the Coordination and Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) for a new Secretary’s Minority AIDS Initiative Fund (SMAIF) program entitled Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Building Care and Prevention Capacity: Addressing the HIV Care Continuum in Southern Metropolitan Areas. The purpose of this program is to implement innovative models of service delivery that result in improvements in RWHAP Part A jurisdictions’ HIV care continuum for minority populations.
