This announcement solicits applications for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Implementation Center for HIV Clinical Quality Improvement. The purpose of this program is to assist RWHAP recipients and subrecipients with implementing clinical quality improvement methodologies and concepts, as required by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009, to improve HIV health outcomes for people living with HIV (PLWH).
DHAPP continues to rely upon the vital support of various partners, such as non-governmental organizations (NGOs), in implementing HIV prevention, care and treatment programs across the globe. Each country has a customized plan to help the countries’ militaries bring its HIV/AIDS programs to sufficient scale to help reduce the spread of the epidemic and mitigate its impact.
We propose to compare three health services models of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) delivery at STD and family planning clinics for patients at substantial risk for HIV acquisition. Model 1: Direct PrEP provision in STD and family planning clinics. Model 2: Passive referral to another PrEP service provider in the community. Model 3: Active linkage with patient navigators to another PrEP service provider in the community.
