The goal of the FP Integrated Project is to increase use of modern contraceptive methods by target populations. This project’s target populations, defined below, have a high unmet need for family planning.1 The project goal supports the Government of the Republic of Mozambique (GRM) and Ministry of Health (MISAU) priorities related to improving the health of Mozambicans by increasing access to and use of voluntary family planning and contraceptive methods.

The Medical Monitoring Project (MMP) is an ongoing, locally and nationally representative surveillance system that collects data on a probability sample of HIV-diagnosed adults in the United States. MMP monitors sociodemographic variables, behavioral and clinical characteristics, supportive service needs, use of healthcare and prevention services, and adherence to clinical care guidelines among HIV-diagnosed adults.
Grant Amounts: Average One Year Award Amount: $7,000,000.00. The purpose of this FOA is to build on previous PEPFAR support under the HHS/CDC HIV care and treatment program to ensure continuity of comprehensive HIV/AIDS services to an existing pool of clients receiving HIV/AIDS care, support, and/or treatment. The program will also continue moderate expansion of access to HIV/AIDS services while building the capacity of national structures and contributing to sustainable service delivery within the health sector in Côte d’Ivoire, with a primary focus of activities in the northern regions.
