NPIN Database: Boosting Partner Resource Visibility

NPIN is planning to launch an Audience Survey soon to determine what our followers on social media, newsletter subscribers, Community members, and site visitors would like to see in the future. In the meantime, we’re getting a better picture of what draws people to NPIN through those very channels. For instance, since we relaunched NPIN News in September 2022, we’ve had nearly 100 new subscribers.

A renewed focus on database materials on Facebook and Twitter has been popular, as well, with posts showcasing resources consistently ranking high in terms of hits, likes, and shares.

How do we decide what to share? Certain resources—whether created by CDC or other organizations—focus on health awareness days/weeks/months. We always try to share the newest resources in the database via social media, the newsletter, and in the Community’s public groups.

Community Resources

How can you get boosted? Here at NPIN, we look around for new, relevant resources—but we won’t find all of them. If your organization has materials pertaining to HIV, viral hepatitis, TB, STDs, or Adolescent and School Health, suggest it to us via NPINInfo@cdc.gov. Let us give you a boost, NPIN-style!
