Supporting the Provision of High Quality, Comprehensive, and Sustainable HIV Services in National Teaching and Referral Hospitals in the Republic of Kenya under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) will support the implementation and expansion of comprehensive HIV prevention, care, and treatment activities in Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and Mathari Mental Hospital (MMH) in Nairobi and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) in Kisumu. All three are National Teaching and Referral Hospitals (NT&RHs) and will serve as clinical centers of excellence (COEs) for clinical referral for complicated patients and provide on-site mentorship for health care workers (HCW); in particular for advanced HIV case management. Awardee(s) will establish systems for quality assurance and improvement, and support strengthening of NT&RH systems for sustainable HIV service delivery.
