This online tool allows those working in adolescent sexual health settings to analyze national, state, and local Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS) data from 1991 to 2015. Data from high school and middle school surveys are included. Data can be filtered and sorted based on race/ethnicity, sex, grade, or site; customized tables and graphs can be created, and statistical tests can be performed by site and health topic. Topics include sexual behaviors, HIV testing, alcohol and drug use, and more.

Supporting Counties and Other Indigenous Health Management Institutions to Bridge Skill Gaps Among Health Care Workforce Necessary for HIV Epidemic Control in Kenya under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The necessary skills required for HIV epidemic control in Kenya are not adequately offered during pre-service trainings of health care workers due to delayed alignment of training curricula with emerging health issues. There is also low deployment of graduating health care workers, thus leaving a large skill gap, especially in areas that have traditionally not been the focus of pre-service training such as monitoring and evaluation, health informatics, and epidemiology.

Scaling High Quality Laboratory Services for HIV Diagnosis, Care, Treatment and Monitoring in Mozambique under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

Laboratory services, and their networks, are fundamental components of effective, well-functioning health systems and are essential for patient management, disease detection and control, and surveillance. This NOFO will support Mozambique’s Ministry of Health (MOH) to strengthen the integrated national laboratory network in order to ensure the provision of quality services for clinical diagnosis, screening, and surveillance in support of HIV care and treatment and the achievement of an AIDS free generation.

Strengthen Capacity of South African Government's Department of Health and Implementing Partners to Deliver Quality Differentiated, Advanced Clinical Care for Unstable HIV and TB/HIV Patients in the Republic of South Africa under PEPFAR

In South Africa, it is estimated that 20% of patients newly initiating anti-retroviral therapy (ART) present late and 10-15% of patients on first line ART are failing treatment, leading to poor retention, especially in the first 12 months of treatment. This NOFO seeks to improve treatment retention and viral load suppression of HIV and TB/HIV co-infected patients through the use of innovative capacity building approaches for health service providers to better manage complicated and unstable HIV and TB/HIV co-infected patients.

Strategic Information Support Across Countries under the Global Fund to Fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The overall purpose of this NOFO is to strengthen activities related to strategic information, program and clinical monitoring and evaluation (M&E). The goal of this NOFO is to provide funding and targeted support to advance strategic information activities including surveillance, monitoring and evaluation, health information systems, and statistical methodologies for HIV and TB, diagnosis, treatment and prevention. This would ensure efficient patient management, M&E, measure impact, and accountability assessments for PEPFAR prioritized countries.
