Strengthening National Capacity for Integrated HIV/AIDS Health Data Collection, Use, and Dissemination in Support of an Evidence-based Response in South Sudan under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The purpose of this FOA is to generate and use quality HIV/AIDS SI including from program data, surveys, and surveillance for an evidence-based HIV Programming in the country. This FOA builds upon 2 of 50 achievements of the current CDC supported project ending March 2017.

Understanding and Addressing the Multi-level Influences on Uptake and Adherence to HIV Prevention Strategies Among Adolescent Girls and Young Women in Sub-Saharan Africa (R21)

This initiative aims to: (1) enhance our understanding of the multi-level factors that influence HIV prevention strategy use among adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in sub-Saharan Africa and (2) develop and test novel interventions to address these factors and enhance the uptake and adherence to HIV prevention strategies among AGYW in sub-Saharan Africa.

Strengthening Capacity of HIV/AIDS Treatment in Ukraine under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

Grantee will work at Ukrainian priority regional AIDS Centers and antiretroviral (ARV) treatment sites to provide technical assistance on implementation of test and treat guidelines and on innovative service delivery models for resource optimization. Grantee will also work at national level to provide input into development of national guidelines and policy on HIV testing, care and treatment.

Scaling up Targeted Community Based HIV Testing Services and Linkage to Treatment in Lesotho (CID-LINK) Project under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to provide quality Community Based HIV Testing & Counselling (CBHTC) services in the five PEPFAR scale up districts (Maseru, Berea, Leribe, Mafeteng & Mohale’s Hoek) of Lesotho using targeted community-based approaches to identify HIV-positive individuals and link them to treatment services.

Enhancing Sustainable and Integrated Health, Strategic Information and Laboratory Systems for Quality Comprehensive HIV Services through Technical Assistance to the Republic of Rwanda under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The goal of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to institutionalize sustainable national health, laboratory and strategic information systems by supporting the provision of technical assistance and strategic planning to the Rwanda Ministry of Health and other partnering institutions. To strengthen national systems for a comprehensive HIV response, the awardee will leverage current efforts and implement new activities that will have sustainable effects within the health system focusing on high priority geographical, programmatic and staffing areas.

Assist the Ministry of Health to Provide Critical Human Resources for Health to Achieve HIV Epidemic Control in Malawi under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This FOA will focus on providing critical human resources through recruitment and provision of salary support to qualified health workers, for the Ministry of Health (MOH) to meet PEPFAR objectives and achieve 90:90:90 goals by 2020 and beyond. The salary support would prioritize filling the gap before graduates get on payroll and would include hardship allowance for health professionals and other allowances as approved by government. The successful applicant will work closely with MOH to ensure maximum alignment with government processes and regulations.

Provision of Comprehensive Community Based Care and Support for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in the United Republic of Tanzania under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

There is still need for improved SI to guide national epidemic response. The purpose of this announcement is to build upon achievements of the current project and support the MOH to generate SI from program data using District Health Information System-2 and conduct priority population based, key population and facility based surveillance/surveys. It will strengthen capacity in disease monitoring/evaluation, monitoring the HIV/AIDS cascade from diagnosis, linkage to care/treatment and viral load suppression.

Strengthening Clinical Services for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in Central America under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) seeks to improve clinical services among People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in the Central America Region including Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.This project will require joint collaboration between the Ministry of Health (MOH), other governmental entities, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in order to effectively reach the target population and support sustainable clinical services.
