In San Luis Obispo County, California, we take the time to investigate every case and follow up with patients on treatment verification and partner investigations. Sometimes it helps mapping out previous cases to determine which STDs are more prevalent in each city in your jurisdiction to target those populations. We are a small county so we also (try) to interview each patient that comes up positive for gonorrhea and get their partner contacts. If you'd like to know more you can contact me at 805-781-4210 or
